What’s Covered? 10 full years of structural-defect coverage for load-bearing components. 2 full years of distribution systems surety coverage against defects in wiring for your electrical system, piping for your plumbing and ductwork for your mechanical system. 1 full year of surety coverage against defects in workmanship and materials. While we strive to build a defect free home, we are realistic to know there will be items that require attention once you settle in after your move. Our goal for every new Ashlyn Home is to make the necessary corrections within 30 days of your request, emailed to warranty@ashlynhomes.com

Near the end of the 11th month of your Materials and Workmanship Warranty, we recommend you submit a year-end list using the same method outlined above. Our criteria for qualifying warranty repairs are based on typical industry practices in our region, and meet or exceed those practices for the components of your home. We do however reserve the right to exceed these guidelines if individual circumstances dictate without being obligated to exceed any other guideline to a similar degree, or for all homeowners.

Ashlyn Homes classifies the following items as emergencies which require immediate attention. Please submit your online EMERGENCY WARRANTY REQUEST and call our offices right away for:

A total loss of heat when outside temperatures are below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
A total loss of electricity, or water. Note: Verify outage is not due to utility company before submitting your request with us.
A plumbing leak requiring a total shut-off of the water supply.
A natural gas leak. Note: Contact the utility or propane retailer, if the gas leak is at the furnace or water heater supply lines.
